Inkspirations Challenge

This week at Inkspirations the challenge is a sketch:
I liked this sketch and I made two different cards one male and one female card (during April I have heaps of birthday cards to make). I also entered into the Bugaboo Challenge for this challenge your card should have 4 or more layers.
The first card is a lovely card using the Just Believe stamp set which I just love:

A quick peek at the inside

Stamp: Just Believe
Ink:  Soft Suede and Pretty in Pink
Card:  Pretty in Pink Very Vanilla and Soft Suede, Subtles DSP
Accessories:  Embossing Folder, butterfly embosslit, ribbon and punches

The second card uses the Sail Away stamp set from the new Mini, combining Old Olive and Black together:

Stamp:  Sail Away
Ink:  Versamark
Card:  Old Olive, Basic Black and Very Vanilla
Accessories:  Embossing Powder, ribbons and Punch

  1. Wow Sue your cards are great. Love how different they look using the same sketch too.

  2. Totally awesome work. You have used my favorite stamp set of all time, excluding pun fun of course, and I just received the hatch stamp this morning.

  3. Sue, these are fantastic. I especially love the first card - TOO beautiful!!

  4. Very effective use of colours- the male card is quite striking, whereas the pink card is very calming. Well done!!

  5. Great use of the sketch Sue in making both male & female cards. The first card is soft & stunning, & the second is very striking. Love your choice of colours & prints, & all the layers you have incorporated. :)

  6. Two fabulous cards using this week's sketch! Love the butterflies with the flowers and great masculine card for the second! Thanks so much for joining us at Inkspirations this week :)
